Insurance Claim Roofing · Nashville, TN
Your insurance company has a team.
You should have Dustin.
Most homeowners accept the first adjuster number. It's usually short by $2,500–$7,000. We attend the inspection, document what the adjuster misses, and supplement the claim to what the job actually costs — at no charge unless it's approved.

The Full Process
How we handle a claim — start to finish.
Most contractors hand you a number and tell you to fight the insurance company yourself. We handle it — because we're the ones who know what the job actually costs.
Roof Assessment
Dustin climbs your roof and documents every finding — hail strikes, granule loss, flashing failures, ventilation. Written report in 48 hours. This is what your claim is built on.
Claim Filing
We help you file with your carrier correctly — the right date of loss, the right storm event, the right contact at the claims department. Most homeowners underfile and lose before the adjuster shows up.
Adjuster Meeting
Dustin is on your roof when the adjuster shows up — not a salesperson. He walks every item, asks every question, and doesn't leave until the scope is written correctly.
Supplementing
The first adjuster estimate is almost always short. We review it line-by-line and submit supplements for anything missed or underpriced — code upgrades, ventilation, flashing, overhead, profit. This is where the gap closes.
Replacement
Once approved, we schedule and install. GAF Timberline HDZ. In-house crew. Same standards as every Arc One roof — proper ventilation, IWS in valleys, drip edge, permits pulled before work starts.
The Adjuster Gap
The first check is rarely enough.
Insurance adjusters work fast and work volume. They're not bad at their jobs — they're just not incentivized to find everything. The typical gap between a first adjuster estimate and a properly supplemented claim in Nashville runs $2,500–$7,000 on an average residential roof.
The most common misses: code-required ventilation upgrades, ice & water shield in all valleys, drip edge replacement, permit fees, and overhead & profit for the general contractor managing the job. None of these are unusual asks — they're standard items most adjusters write short on the first pass.
We supplement every claim. The adjuster's first number is a starting point, not a final answer.

How We Get Paid
No fee unless your claim is approved.
We work on contingency for insurance claims. You owe Arc One nothing unless your carrier approves a claim and we complete the replacement. The assessment is free. The adjuster meeting is free. The supplementing is free. We get paid when you have a new roof — from the insurance proceeds.
What you're responsible for:
- Your deductible — typically $1,000–$2,500 depending on your policy. Paid directly to Arc One when work is complete.
- Any upgrades you choose — if you want a premium shingle color or additional scope beyond what's covered, that difference is on you.
- Nothing else. Not the assessment. Not the adjuster meeting. Not the supplements. Not the filing.
Common Questions
Insurance claim questions, answered straight.
My adjuster already came. Is it too late to supplement?
No. You can supplement a claim at any point before you accept final payment. If the check has already been cashed and you've signed a release, that's a different conversation — but in most cases we can still supplement. Call us before you accept anything.
What if my claim is denied?
We review the denial and determine if it's worth appealing — some denials are legitimate, some are bureaucratic errors. If the damage is documented and real, we'll help you appeal at no charge. If the denial is valid (no covered damage), we tell you straight and don't chase a dead-end claim.
Will filing a claim raise my rates?
That's between you and your carrier. Generally: one claim in a policy period rarely triggers a rate increase. Two or more claims in a short window can. This is a real conversation to have with your agent before you file. We won't pressure you to file if it's not in your interest.
Do I have to use your preferred shingles?
GAF Timberline HDZ is our standard — it's what we warranty and what we know performs in Nashville weather. If you want a different product, talk to us. We can accommodate some alternatives, but we won't install something we can't stand behind.
Do you work with all insurance carriers?
Yes — State Farm, Allstate, USAA, Farmers, Travelers, and regional carriers. The process varies slightly by carrier but the fundamentals are the same. Dustin has worked with all of them.
What if the damage is minor — do I still need a full replacement?
Not always. Some hail events cause cosmetic damage only — granule loss that doesn't compromise the shingle's watertight performance. If your roof has years of service life left, we'll tell you. We'd rather do a repair and have you call us in five years for the replacement than oversell a job today.
What's the timeline from first call to new roof?
Assessment within 48 hours of your call. Report delivered 48 hours after that. Claim filing and adjuster meeting within 1–2 weeks. Supplement process 2–4 weeks depending on carrier response. Installation typically scheduled 1–2 weeks after final approval. Full timeline: 6–10 weeks from first call to completed roof, depending on carrier speed.
